Our performing drum line consists of ex members of Drum Corps such as, Santa Clara Vanguard, Concord Blue Devils, Valley Fever Modesto, Velvet Knights Anaheim, The Dons Fresno, Sacramento Freelancers and more. However, you are not required to have drum corp lineage to join VT! If you think you can play, you are welcome to come and check us out.<\/p>\n

We have performed at many community events since 2012, such as The Madera District Fair, The Big Fresno Fair and the Relay for Life.<\/p>\n

We are always looking for new talent!\u00a0 If you are too old for drumcorps and still love to play, contact us at info@valley-thunder.org<\/a><\/p>\n

We practice at the Community Center for Arts and Technology<\/a> at varying times. Sometimes Saturday mornings or Monday nights.<\/p>\n

Our time commitment is low. Typically 2 or 3 practices a month at 2-3 hrs each.<\/p>\n

There is no monetary commitment except for your own sticks and transportation. \u00a0We prefer new snare drummers to have their own drums. \u00a0We have a full set of drums – tenors, basses, and snares – to use at CCAT.<\/p>\n

Right now we are gearing up for our annual Christmas Tree Lane performance. A good time to join would be RIGHT NOW or after the New Year.<\/p>\n
