Hello All,

First thing…..I want to say thank you to all of the members of Valley Thunder past and present, please keep in mind how far we have come in just over a year, we have had some set backs and we have had some moving forward, that is how it is when we are all grown ups, well, some of us are….

So with that said, want to wish Dave Lawson all the love in the world! Dave has decided he wants to focus more on his family and also his work is asking for extra time from him as well, Dave, you are a charter member and are always welcome back any time you want!!!!

Chris Rios, same thing for you brotha, Chris has decided he is going to focus on his Mixed Martial Arts fighting (not sure what it is called) and I wish you all the love in the world as well, I thought Chris was a lover not a fighter….

So don’t be bummed out, we are still at four Bass Drums with Dillan, Eric, Anthony and Michelle.

We will do a quick warm up and discuss what we will do for the Madera Fair, after we have decided on what materials we will play, we will break into sectionals for one hour after that we will play for one hour the 15-20 minute show.

Please, PLEASE, work more at home, after this rehearsal I don’t want to see any more music stands (Bass Drums will need a little more time due to the changes), everyone needs to have music memorized ASAP, we will not add any more music until we have everything memorized and at a performance level.

Changes are one of the only constant things in life, no reason change should take it easy on Valley Thunder, we will rock on.
